The AIMEC (International Academy of Electronic Music) is the largest network in the world DJs schools with their seven (7) offices throughout Brazil. He won the last four years (2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014) the award for Best School / Course for DJs of Brazil in awards held by Rio Music Conference, conference that takes place every year in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
The AIMEC started its operations in 2004. Earlier that year came the idea of making a musical production course with Englishman Henry Cullen (DAVE The Drummer). This course never came to pass, but it was a seed for the AIMEC born. Months later, Ilan Kriger was invited to participate in the audio portion of the AICC (International Academy of Film Curitiba). On the first visit of the future school did the idea of using part of the idle time between the productions of the films to create a school for DJs and music producers. Here was born the AIMEC.
The company was created by the partners: Ilan Kriger, Rafael Araujo, Rafael Gadotti, and Leonardo ARLANT. At that time the team consisted of eight teachers (Ilan Araujo, Gadotti, Leozinho, Raul Aguilera, Beto Larski, Pacelli and Carioca). The first classes were already a great success and about 80 students crammed into the 10 hours available. Currently has the following corporate grade: Andre Motta, Rafael Araujo, Alonso Figueroa, Matthew Basso.
Since that time the team AIMEC is working hard to upgrade their courses and also launch new ones. Besides the activities in the classroom, organize competitions, workshops, lectures, courses in other cities, parties and other events.
In 2006 was founded the first affiliate network in Sydney, Santa Catarina. In 2007 he was born the headquarters of Campinas, São Paulo. 2009 was the year that Porto Alegre won his office and, in 2012, Santa Catarina, with two locations: Joinville and Florianópolis. In 2015 it was the turn of Maringa, Parana. Future headquarters of AIMEC are always being negotiated
