Job Description

We are currently seeking a Digital Strategist who would like to pursue a career in the music and events industry, and who is ready to become a key member of the MAMA Festivals team.

Responsibilities

• Devising digital strategy for each festival with the Marketing Manager
• Implementing and optimising digital advertising for each festival
• Building audiences and optimising data usage for promotion across all digital platforms
• Weekly reports on digital ad campaigns, website traffic and e-shots
• Collating weekly Google Analytics reports and feeding results into strategy
• Experience in working with different brands and different tones with very different target audiences
• Overseeing budgets for each festival for digital spend and working with the Marketing Manager on a set strategy to reach weekly targets
• Working on site at each festival overseeing the website and socials strategy
• Assisting the Marketing Manager

Job requirements

• Excellent analytical skills in social platforms (Facebook platforms, Twitter, YouTube, Google and MailChimp)
• Knowledge of social monitoring and Insights tools
• Ability to develop strategies based around set KPIs whilst monitoring and reporting on their success
• A strategic eye on campaigns who can communicate ideas in a coherent, easily digestible way
• Proactive in planning and anticipating potential issues. Strong follow-through skills
• Experience in running multiple paid social media campaigns
• Experience running Google Display Network campaigns
• Good working knowledge of best SEO practice
• Very organised with great attention to detail
• A true team player who works well under pressure and tight deadlines
Desirable
• A culture vulture by nature, you will have a broad knowledge of music, the wider arts and food
• Awareness of key London cultural magazines, websites, blogs and other digital sites
• Festival fan, with understanding of live music promotion
